'Conkers'

A traditional English children's game played with the Horse Chestnut. The person who still holds the 'Conker' on the string at the end wins the game.

New paint required

Keeping the exhibits of the museum in good condition is a year round undertaking. Here we have two volunteers preparing one of the 'nodding donkeys' with wire brush prior to giving it a new coat of green paint.
